I haven't been as active on this forum lately as we've been super swamped fielding phone calls, emails, text messages and shipping orders, but I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your continued patronage and support. I love looking at all of your sweet rigs with FX Pros, and I'm really glad to see that everyone is enjoying their wheels!

    Very good question @Kamille.bidan.

The load rating for a 17x8" FX Pro is 2,105lbs per wheel as tested to the SAE J2530 standard (as well as JWL-T, but SAE J2530 is the more stringent of the two standards) with a 33" diameter tire (285/70R17). This far exceeds the rear axle rating for all years of Tacomas.

The 16x8" version, which is temporarily sold out, has the same load rating as the 17x8" version.

We also offer an 18" version which has a 2,500lbs per wheel load rating as tested to the SAE J2530 standard with a 35" diameter tire. We build the 18" version with a heavier load rating to be suitable for the late model Landcruisers, Sequoias, and Tundras.

Those of you with the matte gunmetal (or other matte finishes) any comments on caring for the finish/keeping them clean? I like the lighter color of them, but I'm hoping dirt/brake dust doesn't stick to the matte finish like crazy. I like to keep my wheels clean but don't want to spend a lot more time than I already do.

    thanks

I'm planning on 255/80/17 on stock OR suspension but going 2-2.5 suspension. Looking at FN Pro wheels or just going oem which look to be tad cheaper and they are 17x7. Decisions Decisions

Finally got my wheels. All I need now is a truck to put them on. Been waiting on my truck for over 3 months now and still two weeks out.

High gloss. It’s the perfect color for magnetic grey metallic which is what my 2021 will be when ever the factory decides to finish it.. lol

These are the High Gloss Gunmetal. They actually aren't too glossy in my opinion and look really nice and dark with the Cement truck.

TrdPro grille, blackout badges. Pretty much stock.
I used chemical guys matte sealer(3 coats when new). Occasionally I follow it up with their matte detail spray and sealer. Only used the detailer 2 times, once last year and once this year. The wheels still look new, brake dust doesn't collect as much, and the wheels are pretty easily cleaned. I have the trd pro wheels but the fn wheels have always interested me for the width. I imagine cleaning characteristics would be the same.

What size are these tires? I'm considering doing 17 TRD Rims on my 21 Sport with 265/70/17 Terra Grapplers with no lift

Same size. You should have no issues since your wheel is a +4 offset. Mine is a 0 offset and I have no issues. Mine is stock too. Only time you will get into some rubbing troubles on our sizes is going to negative offset wheels.

Not entirely true. I am running 265/70-17 BFG KO2's with FX Pros and had slight rubbing on the mud flaps before my lift. It is even worse now that I am sitting 2" over stock, but that is a whole other story that involves an incompetent alignment tech and 6 hours of my life wasted...
