Have you looked on McMaster carr
at security hardware? You can buy it in much lower quantity. Also I went through the same thought process when the anti condensation mat. Ended up just getting the tepui one and I’m glad I did.

I was going to suggest the same thing. They've got to have security nuts that would work in quantities of 25, maybe 10.

McMasterr Carr doesn't have M13 nuts for some reason. As a matter of fact I haven't been able to find anything M13 anywhere except for Tepui

And you’re talking about the bolts that hold the tent to the vehicle, right?

Are you sure the bolt size is M13? My Tepui bolts are M8. (they do take a 13mm wrench, though).

That’s what I was getting at with my previous question. I think he’s got them mixed up. M13 isn’t a common thing and if it were, that would be huuuuuuge for mounting a tent.

Lol we’ve all been there. What I did was take one of those slide things to the hardware store to see what bolt head fit in there and bought all new stainless steel hardware. I got 5/16” diameter bolts which are the standard equivalent to the M8 bolts. That’s why I was like no way it’s M13.

I was so confused that I couldn't find M13 bolts anywhere! I just got some M8 tri-groove nuts from mcmaster and that should be it!
    thanks all!

Did you end up buying one? I’ve had both FSR and Roam.

I recommend the FSR over the two. Or a Desert Armor Warrior if you want a hard shell.

Just a heads up for REI members. I just picked up an Ikamper mini using there 20% off coupon. Expires the 29th. Saved $750 and these damn things never go on sale.

Does anyone here keep their RTT on their truck 24/7? I currently live at an apartment so no garage or much storage to put the RTT in when I am not using it. Thinking about getting one though.

Unfortunately yes. Id love to be able to take it off and keep it inside when not in use. Would keep it out of the weather and would also give a bit of an MPG boost not having that big thing up there all the time, but not really an option for me at this point
