Is that about 3/16" you're drilling into?

If it makes you guys feel any better my youngest son guilted me out of a piece. See, I’m not a complete jerk!

That looks like an awesome first job! Way better than hauling ceramic tile up flights of stairs like I did.
    wishing him luck!

How can you not have fun at a place like that?

My first paying gig was helping my uncle replace wet carpet at a convent. Going from sitting in school all day to heavy manual labor the next was rather eye opening. Probably why I have a mostly desk job now.

That would be fun as a first job! I started out in the tobacco and/or hay fields

Every couple months I get an order for some of these things for a company in New Orleans that processes aluminum. No idea what exactly they put through it but they're pretty fun to make, and I think they're the only customer who picks up their parts at our shop.

    20210326_074134.jpg

    They're 39" long for reference.

Yeah, our shipping lady is great at packing. Our stuff seldom breaks, and when it does it's usually the shippers fault.

We got an offer on our house, our realtor ask "what do you want me to tell them"? My wife responded "tell them we're offended, try again" :burp:

They've been out to look twice, they want to remove the tanks and pumps and turn the store into a cafe, I think that is why the lowball offer.

You can't be doing that, six! I went from :fistbump: at the beginning to :annoyed:at the end.

It's not your fault they want to change the use of the property and low balled.

Also, I'm not up on my zoning rules. Does zoning need to change if the property goes from a convenience store to a cafe?

Pretty sure it would need to be rezoned, that I think would be a challenge for them and they would back out even if we could agree on a price. We have other people interested and also a showing in the morning at 8:30.

I hope he likes it are any of his friends working there?

I was bailing hay and fixing broken farm equipment everyone should rebuild at least one manure pump to understand manure can flow up hill when pumped.

I never asked him. By nature of the job and the location, I'm sure there will be at least a person or two that he'll know.
