Mine were $185 a piece w/ free shipping. Ordered on a Friday morning and arrived the following Monday. The total for 5 tires was $996.

Wife gave me the thumbs up, just ordered them from Walmart, free shipping 180.63/tire, 967.62 after taxes to the door for 5 tires. Not bad, now to order wheels.

Dang, that's not too bad at all.

Thanks for the review, seems like an ideal tire choice. Increasingly it seems I'm leaning towards 17's. Just sucks cause I love my 16" wheels :(

Yeah same, I'd prefer 16s just for that tad bit more of sidewall, but so far haven't been able to de-bead yet

    Hey everyone-

Thanks for the persuasion. Put on 255/85/16 falken wildpeak mt today and I’m digging the skinny tire look. No rubbing anywhere at full lock, haven’t been in the woods yet. Tech tore one of the wheel vinyls but I’ll redo it. Full dobinson setup to come next month. I’ll add some photos when it’s done. 8C8E18FF-6364-4739-A03B-B1EAC45E1C84.jpg8C8E18FF-6364-4739-A03B-B1EAC45E1C84.jpg FF17F4D6-9844-4057-B6F0-D1FC9D0EB896.jpg

Well...I tried to stay with a smaller tire size this time around (265/75/16), but this skinny thread has persuaded me to go bigger, LOL.

Just ordered the Mastercraft CXT’s in 255/85/16, should have them by next weekend : )

Thanks for all whom posted !!

I’ve only been up to 60 with them and they’re real quiet so far. Quieter than my coopers no doubt. I’ll report back once I have some highway miles on.

These bad boys just showed up on my doorstep. Kenda Klever 33/10.5r17 ordered from Walmart two days ago and they are already here. Currently on the truck are 265/75r16 Firestone Destination AT that measure 31ish inches with about 40k miles on them. Current set is soon to be my trailer set and the Kendas will get mounted on new 17x8.5 Vor VE37 wheels in a week or two. They really make my Firestones look like a street tire.

I really love my Kenda’s now that I have some miles on them. They grip really really well on road and off road and are pretty quite. I heard they get loader after about 10k but so do all aggressive tires. So far I’m liking the softer D-Load and they air down nicely to around 16PSI but I’ll probably try 12-14 PSI next time I’m out. I noticed I pick up more rocks in the tread but not a deal breaker. The 35x10.5R17 measured out at 34.75” mounted on a 7” wheel off the truck. I am stock ride height and do still have some rub when I flex the truck but driving around town and highway is good. I run about 30 PSI cold, warming up to about 33 PSI on-road and that seems the sweet spot for my mostly stock weight truck. I love the size and look. I’m hoping the tire manufactures are seeing the trend and release a 37x11.5. We need more large skinny options in the AT, RT and MT tire class.

Just the top of the fender well. I’ll hammer it some more when I have time. I took out the fender liners for now but will put them back in when I have time to mod them.

20 miles going 75 last night. They aren’t loud at all and really drive smoothly. They aren’t real blocky and kind of have an at-ish tread pattern just real deep. Airing down for the woods today I’ll report back on how they do.

I wanted their 35/10.5's so bad but I don't want to lose the spare storage location under the bed nor am I ready to regear just yet. Super jelly!

Guys, i'm struggling with my choices here... going onto a brand new TRD Sport DCLB in cement.
I've got a set of TRD reps that i'm so looking forward to getting some rubber onto, but very torn on which way to go. I want to stick with the skinny tires for all the reasons in this 190 page thread.

    1. Nokian Rotiiva AT is my first choice LT 245/75/17... but TEN PLY E rated. Being Finnish myself, I'm biased towards them. I've run this tire before on my FJ, only in 265/70 and had great results, but that was a P rated.
    2. Lots of take-offs in my area as Wranglers run P245/75/17 - could go Bridgestone Dueler AT or GY Wrangler AT
    3. HT tire like a Michelin. I have the LTX M/S2 in 265/70 on a set of 4Runner rims, but don't want the big boots on the taco. Was going to just sell these and use the funds for some new rubber.
Anyone have any recommendations based on my 3 options. Just leery of the E rated 10 ply tires. Sport is going to be stiff already. I don't need it for the load, its just the only spec the nokian tire is offered in.
