Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

I hate the surprise inspections, boiler inspector just came by to check out both air compressors. I been meaning to take the doghouse off the one outside since it's not below freezing anymore but just haven't. Had to today, in the rain so he could get to the pop off valve We're good for 2 more years.

 

Wife just sent me this, kids dressed themselves this morning

 

My question exactly... I am completely surrounded by no bacon whatsoever!!!!!!

My first job was weekend reception desk at a real estate firm. Little did they tell me, Real estate agents dont make money in office. My job was "sit in an empty office building, and answer the one phone call a day we got".

I left that job for a locksmithing/property management business and spent 10 hours a day in the VA summer sun and humidity. I wouldve killed for a gokart job.

Oh boy a fun plex type of job would be cool. I worked part time all through HS, and in the summer months picked up extra jobs here n there. One summer I delivered appliances to new apartment complex, it was right about the same time I think as Dire Straits song that ain't working....we got to move these refrigerators...., second and third floors were a real treat.

 

@six5crèéd would you mind saving me from digging through 760 pages to figure out what’s going on with you? I’ve seen tractors, trucks, workshop, convenience store, a house and now you’re selling some combination of these? Just trying to piece it all together lol

 

I work full time in a machine shop, we do a lot of prototype work. I love it. My wife and I own a c-store as well, I open it at 6 am, come to the shop at 7, my wife runs the store and I get off from the shop at 3 and go back to the store. We have one lady who helps us out when we need it but 95% of the time it's my wife or me working there from 6 am to 7 pm. I do a little side work as well, working on tractors, mowers, whatever really. We have 2 kids, daughter is 5, son just turned 9 yesterday. We are trying to sell the house and store to get some land where we can raise our kids and deer hunt. The store and house are on the same property, been there since 1951

I'm kinda the opposite. Jack of all trades, master of none I put an all new axle, bearing, and hub in an electric tugger last week in record time. Everybody wanted to know how I knew that wizardry. I said it's setup like an old Toyota (really is) Just got stares.
