I do. To me, that's one of the big appeals to the RTT. It's just ready to go with minimal forethought. I'll pop it open after a trip to clean/air it out and before a trip to double-check it's still good, but that's it.

That doesn't work for everyone, though. Those that have it above the roofline and daily their truck are gonna suffer with the MPG loss.

i like to think my tent acts as a spoiler pushing my rear wheels down onto the pavement so i can jam the gas full pedal to the metal no slip and go fast. /s

i dont think my mpg has taken that big of a hit tbh

And for those of us that have it mounted JUST above the tonneau cover, we can't just pop into Harbor Freight and load up that large tool box and compressor.

That sounds like a pro depending on who you ask. Minimizes those impulse buys.

I had a VW Fox that I had a big canoe strapped to the roof, I firmly believe it added downforce.

I don't hate it, I like how compact it is folded up. For 2 people, seems good but probably a no go if you have kids or pets with you.

That's pretty interesting and seems like it would be a great fit for some people. I like it.

i remember seeing a teaser about this last year. its a pretty interesting concept and will work for some people.

it should be lighter though shouldnt it? half the size of a kukeman but maybe 10 lbs lighter?

I think the best part is it still gives you the other side of the rack to use

    Not much stock left.
I’m wondering if anyone else is having a similar issue with there hard shell RTT. I have the CVT Mt. Hood and the last 2” to close it are hard AF.

I assume it’s full of air. Am I missing something?

The single channel or double channel my hood?
Single channel there’s barely enough space to leave a thin blanket and close.
I have a dbl channel and have a blanket and sleepy bags and can close with just some extra downnforce.

Anyone here have a trick to getting the Tepui window rod in place for the front (of the car)? Front passenger side.
I have a midrise bed rack on and can’t get that last rod in place, the roof is in the way. I used part of the rack to hold it for now.

I just leave that one closed. I don’t really see the need to have every single one open.

Negative. Nothing left in the tent other than the mattress it came with.

    I’m not 100% sure.
