Thanks for the confirmation! In talking to support at TacomaBeast they said the resistors would fix it but if that's the only scenario (hyperflash occured when turn signal is on when I put it in reverse) then I might want to wait. I'll keep the old bulbs and 10mm in the truck just in case until I decide to get resistors.

Installed the MESO map lights I purchased last November. Shout out to @ClassyTacos for the solid install video

Funny! I too traded my scooped hood plus some boot, if its not functional why bother IMHO. Now we have a nice flat surface for mapping our route - got approval from my better half to start drawing since we've left the US

I personally love the look and wish I had the scoop but the grass is always greener on the other side.... never thought about the visual obstruction

Thanks! I certainly like the rear backup camera. So the front camera mounted in the grill? Since my camper is mounted semi-permanently I removed my rearview mirror since it's now useless.

Honestly after a week you forget the scoop is even there. Although I've never driven one without it so maybe the visibility is better but it certainly doesn't bother me. I just think it looks cool. Also keeps the hood from separating/quivering.. non-functional my ass!

I guess this is a milestone? Wife rewarded me shortly after with a roof top tent.

on the 2020 trd offroads there are 2 screw holes for the oem camera bracket under the tss/emblem, not sure if that's the same for other models.

i bought this bracket for the front camera from taco garage: Taco Garage bracket.jpg

Installed the TRD skid plate. It’s a lot of money for what it is, but overall I am happy.

I couldn't envision a time when I'd be backing up and using my directional, but then it happened twice in a week. Of course a normal person would live with that and pocket the $20.00 for the kit. Being a Tacoma owner, that wasn't going to happen. ;)

Everyone seems too have noticed that the 10mm socket is an essential tool for Tacoma repairs. With a 10mm nut driver and a panel tool, you can do about 95% of interior work.

I have an extra 10mm nut driver in my truck along with a few other tools.

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
Unless you have an Access Cab. They use Torx for fasteners in the rear doors. Obviously the designers of the front part of the truck were not in the same room as the designers of the back of the truck for the Access Cabs.
