    The rubber cover I have on my rear Icons I put on in hopes that it would keep rocks from flying up at speed and pitting the exposed shafts. Maybe I should pop them off and see if I have a collection of "stuff" trapped inside.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    I go other way around, trans > external cooler > radiator > trans if I don't use a thermostat
    That way it still warms up fast in winter and can still cool the excess heat in summer

    The cooler Mike linked has a bypass to help fluid warm up time in the winter. I have mine after the radiator, doesn’t really matter though. Still would work fine the way you routed it.
    I also put a Magnefine filter in-line after the external cooler because why not.

    I think I may have done 5 uhgadugass on the 1/2” Milwaukee and I blew the bearing out it’s so noisy. I thought the ptfe fixed it but I’ll just order a new one and replace it
