    I partly agree. I think it looks great. I, however, disagree about the interior. I much prefer the Tacoma interior. While this is updated, it still seems kind of out dated already, particularly with the materials used in the lower part of the center stack. Many of the parts used, also, are carry overs from the previous model as well.

    I think Titan's are more expensive than Tundra's.

    They are pretty similar yeah but they tried to go upscale with the Titan this Frontier looks much more standard Nissan cheap. I could be wrong.

    Nah man. The plastic Toyota used on the 3rd Gen is subpar. It scratches too easily and is honestly junk. Don’t get me wrong, I love the 3rd Gen (especially the rugged interior design), but the quality of the plastic is absolute garbage.

    I guess I'm not sure what you're talking about. I don't have any scratches in the plastic on my 2017 and if I do, they're pretty well hidden. Unless you're referring to the gauge cluster. In that case, every vehicle I've ever owned scratches easily on that.

    The 2021 Frontier with the new powertrain had a big price bump over the 2020 Frontier, just FYI. Don't expect big discounts on the new one.

    Nissans don't hold their value as well as a Tacoma, so your monthly payments are higher with a lease. Back in 2010 I was cross-shopping the Frontier Pro-4X with the Tacoma TRD OR on a 3-year lease. The Nissan's monthly payments ended up being 40% higher with the specific down payment and prevailing interest rates at the time.

    I think is a misspoke.
    The link I provided was to the Nissan USA site.
    I think I would go with that for information.:cheers:

    I had a 2006 Nissan Xterra with the same drivetrain as the Frontier and drove it 305,000 miles on the Original clutch, transmission and timing chain. Then I sold it for $3,000. Incredibly reliable from my personal experience. However they discontinued the MT on the Frontier so I replaced the XTerra with a Tacoma, which I have been very pleased with.

    Those TFL shills are salivating! Maybe their dream of having Toyota dethroned is nigh! If Toyota would only pay these guys to say nice things like the other makers, the world of YouTube reviews would make so much more sense.

    GM Twins:
    TFL = Tacoma is dead!
    public = nope

    New Ranger:

    public = nope

    Gladiator:
    TFL = Tacoma is dead!
    public = nope

    New Fontier:
    TFL = Tacoma might die......BEWARE!!!!

    I currently have a 2020 Frontier with the VQ38DD engine and 9 speed transmission that is coming in the next gen Frontier. I know this hurts guys and some of you are going to start punching holes in walls, spray the wife with a garden hose, throw dog shit over the fence in the neighbor's yard, whine, kick and scream, and tell me to get fucked but .......

    the Nissan drivetrain exposes the 3.5 Toyota engine for what's it is, a pile of cost cutting shite that was dreamed up by accountants.

    The VQ38DD / 9 speed combo well i'm loving it. It's not like had no experience with the 3rd gen, but 4k for miles was enough.

    I'm sure some will be hurt, but I don't build a lifestyle or my self worth around a vehicle. If this drivetrain is an indicator of what to look forward to in the new Frontier, Nissan will have a winner. Will it be a Tacoma killer? It's hard to say, but if someone test both vehicles the drivetrain in the Frontier makes a better impression.

    This doesn't mean I hate Toyota or the 3rd gen, I just think Nissan has a winner

    It’s the first time in a long time the Frontier actually looks like a competitor. Well see how it does in the real world?????

    The 2nd gen Frontier is grossly under loved in the NA market. It's the truck that has all the stuff that some Tacoma fans want, but won't buy because Nissan and they need a "modern" interior for overlanding.

    A world platform
    Four wheel disc brakes
    A solid truck like drivetrain
    Fully boxed frame
