Does every 2nd Gen tacoma have secondary air injection?

    Hello! First post and I'm excited to finally have a Tacoma. I've been doing maintenance on my Tacoma and replacing and upgrading a lot of the common issue places, one of which was adding the UNI Filter, however, my Tacoma does not seem to have the secondary air injector. I have looked EVERYWHERE for the damn thing and I'm wondering, does every Tacoma have it? I have a 2007 TRD Offroad Tacoma

    If you have the 4.0 v6 you don't have it, I think it came in somewhere between 2010 and 2012 on the 4.0.

    2012 and up. 2012 is the most failure prone year, the 2013-15 trucks run a cycle on shut down to dry it out that that 12s dont do.

    If you had one, it would be on the passenger side of the engine bay, right above the duct going to the air filter.

    You already got your answer but I'll parrot that you don't have one. I *think* the 4 cylinders have them in earlier years but that's irrelevant here.

    2011 6 speed. Mine does not.
    For whatever reason after my year they where added. For smog reasons is my understanding.

    Mine was made in Mexico and doesn't have one.
