Which one?!

Need some help! I'm caught between buying a taco right now...

There's a 2002 Taco 5spd manual 4x4 4L for $9K that will cost me 201$ a month, or a 2000 V6 5Spd Man 4x4 with 85k miles for $11k for $246 a month. Question is which would be better for getting up around the Rockies / snow / and 4 Wheeling...will the V6 make that much more of a difference and the 2 years difference in years?

Both seem to be very well taken care of, which is a good sign! IMO I say the 2000 V6. You'll regret it if you don't get the V6

No I live in Denver, and have to buy in CA because my father's CoSigning for me. Flying out there Friday night to handle what I can on Sat.

 

Have you confirmed the 2002 is a Double Cab?

There's no such thing as a 2001 - 2004 DC with a factory manual transmission. All pre-2005 DC's were automatics.

I'm guessing it's an XtraCab.

Also - if it's a 2002 4X4 DC, it's a V6. There's no such thing as a stock 2002 3RZ 4X4 DC. The only 4-cylinder 2002 DC's were PreRunners.

 

Looked at the ads, they are both extra cabs.

personally, I'd go with the 2000. It's a TRD V6 with lower miles and it has new tires and suspension and wheels.

$45 a month for all the extra is a winner.

 

yea go with the v6, you wont regret it. i have a 98 and i have beat on this thing like no other. and its never let me down. 198,346 miles right now.
