Had the same thing happen with mine. It was complete BS. Mine even got so bad as I could not do payments every two weeks rather than monthly as I had been doing with the previous bank. New bank said only full payments would be accepted, gave me the runaround on payments that I had made that showed to have cleared, and threatened foreclosure. So happy to have finally gotten rid of that mortgage.

 

We have a new mortgage lender, Freedom Mortgage. Never have I been bombarded by so many spam emails and calls, wanting me to sign up for auto pay and/or refi. I switched homeowner's insurance, effective yesterday, and was sent a threatening email from Freedumb, telling me to get a refund from my former insurance carrier and send the refund to them, or my escrow account might be short. I have sent three messages to them, since 3/7, and have received nothing other then the robo email that states my message was received. My last note, on 3/18, requested that they FOAD, in a nice way, of course:


I sent Freedom a message on March 7th and March 15th, and have not received any responses, other than that the message was received. Meanwhile, I have received mail, telling me that my new insurance company has been paid out of my escrow account, and to contact my "former" insurance company and make sure any unused premium was refunded to Freedom. There will be no unused premium, as I am letting the policy expire on 3/24/21, without being renewed, and my new policy begins on 3/23/21. I have also been inundated with spam calls from Freedom Mortgage, offering to lower my premium, supposedly with a refi, which you would not be able to do.

How about this? You respond to this message, with something other than a robo reply that you received it, telling me that you acknowledge my instructions on the new insurance company. After you do that, either stop bothering me with incessant calls and emails, OR... sell my mortgage to a company that is satisfied with simply getting a check each month.

To top that off, just found out that two of my team members that just started going out as part of a behavioral health response team with police and fire picked up two challenge coins from working with FBI SWAT/VCAT out of the local office on their second night working last night. Pretty good showing, especially with it being their second shift on duty.

 

I’m pretty sure you can get one too by gettin’ lunch for Matt. Just ask the New Guy.

 

Lol I'm just glad my agency got them. The two that were working are super stoked about it, that's what I love about it.

 

Hey everyone . Long time. But have a new vehicle in our stable. Got my wife a 2018 Gx460 premium. Replaced her 2020 hyundai palisade which was a giant turd. Haven't had it 2 days and have a dobinson lift on the way
