Look close by we’re that stud is on the left it’s broke in two the only thing holding it was that rubber isolator, it was touching the driveshaft is how I noticed it. Drove it 3 hours with the rear strap hanging on lol.

Yea I thought when I got it that skid/gas tank looked like it was hanging low wasn’t until I picked up and realized I could push it up and that rubber isolator thing was rubbing the driveshaft lol. Did they put the same size gas tanks on the rc cause I swear this holds as much as my dclb?

I honestly hadn't noticed the tank strap. I replaced those with off road straps probably about 6 years ago in order to mount that skid plate. I don't remember what brand it is. Keep it up. I'm enjoying the progress.

Yea I ordered the replacement off the vin then I remembered shit it’s got that skid plate so had to order off road straps, but it wasn’t a big deal they swapped for the right one. Thanks man it’s fun I enjoy driving it more than my double cab, love the 4cyl 5speed. Hey found some dog tags in it want me to mail them to you?

@Son of Liberty @Cred92 Recommend bleeping the address in your comments :). Watching the thread and enjoying the progress, when's the bumper showing up?

I appreciate the suggestion. It's a business address that is advertised everywhere, but typically I would agree.

It's all good. I put a deposit down on a 2021 TRD Off Road a few weeks ago. I wanted to stay with a manual so they ordered one from the factory. It's taking forever to arrive. Supposedly is it now "on the truck" and will arrive "any day now".

I appreciate it, and yes, I will post pics when it comes in. I got it in black to match the Jeep and the camper. I'm already looking at mods... I'm going to build this one into a sweet camping rig.

Ha! Right on. I'm probably going to go Old Man Emu again. I really liked it on that RC 2nd Gen and never had a problem with it. I liked the feel of it better than stock.
