I know where sits a rust free 85 4runner with the factory auto, full cage that fits under the hard top, built axles with new 5.29s that needs to be finished...

40s seem to be the limit even under a really light rig. With 37x14.50s on 2"ish backspace I fear for my front at times but it's holding up well despite the odds

my steering box is leaky. I have a leaky spare on the shelf that needs to be rebuilt and drilled/tapped...but I'm topping off fluid lots anyways because I need to add a cooler to keep it from boiling over :homer: I recently did the half moons and replaced a leaky PS pump, the engine bay and bottom of the truck is rust proofed pretty well now :burp:

Have you cruised marketplace at all, specifically outside of D-Metro? I happened across some after only a couple days of searching when needed for my 80 series wheels.

if I didn't want to escape the metro area so badly I'd have the side of my house paved for better parking

Yeah, looked around and I'm finding generic ones selling for $60+shipping for used ones.

I'm still crossing my fingers that I can pick up a set from someone that wants to give them away like I did and I can put that saved cash towards some new TPMS sensors.

I'll keep an eye out for you up north. The guy I bought mine from let the entire set go for $20.

Just the garage was a hair over $30k. Lumber prices have blown up so a steel structure would likely be the way to go now. I'd say no less than $50k in today's doll hairs.

Lifts are cheap in the used market. Find a dealer doing a re-fit and they go for less than $1k all day long. Aftermarket shops that are going out of business are not the best value until they hit auction. New starts at around $3k plus install.
