Interesting approach. I used wire loom but that looks cooler lol. I believe that bolt should be the other way so that the bolt itself is less susceptible to puncture into the gas tank.

Edit: Then again, should something catch on fire, you’re partially ready with your water hose lol! Sorry sorry

How you get the black hazard and did you rewire the ac controls from a newer gen? Thanks

March Maintenance Madness continues. Flushed radiator and refilled with the pink stuff. Also drain and fill my AT. Had both done at my local dealer cause I'm old and have a sketchy back. Next up is a brake job, probably in June or July.20210326_134925.jpg

Is there a thread that shows how to swap to a 2015 interior (assuming it isn't just the same mounting points and all)? It looks great

Cleaned my roof (removed the old sound deadener). Taking measurements to install new stuff.

It was pretty easy to swap out the radio surround. i would look into using a Hilux 4x4 switch. it works great, but install requires buying a ring from a member here, or trying to make something yourself... i opted to cut up a pvc endpiece and it happened to be perfect!

Installed my OEM Roof Rack. Wow. 30 min job took almost 2 hours. I finally got everything lined up and bolted down. Thought I had the passenger side done when I heard a clank noise while putting the last part (crossbar) on. The threaded bracket for the bolt that holds the crossbar to the rack fell out of its clip in place. Had to take that whole side back off and restart. Very meticulous and annoying, but I got it. Lol

Not that I know anymore. But every step of the process is available in those threads. Pretty easy diy

Edit: '08 and down requires some soldering on the HVAC circuit board because of a difference in polarity compared to '09 & up.

I have never done anything like I did to the board on my hvac unit. I'm glad I practiced on my old one first! That was definitely the hardest thing to do out of the whole project
