Instagram, Youtube, all of em. They are just a string of commercials and promotions nowadays, with a little content sprinkled throughout to keep us all interested. It's no different from the bullshit commercial TV and radio we all grew up with.......and I hate it.

haha ok ok. i missed the bit where they mistook it for their own.

    :bananadead:

i guess i just couldn't even imagine that was a possibility??? otoh, it probably doesn't make a whole lot of sense to post a competitor product on your account to begin with.

Just like all these paid reviews plastered all over the internet, and the fact that you cannot trust ~90% of the ratings or reviews on Amazon and such...

Got my install date email. They can get me in as early as 4/7, but I don't know if I'll be able to get time off til the end of April. Surprised how fast it was considering my original estimate was 6/3

First week of March. I probably also have the most common setup. DCSB 3rd gen. Might be a reason why it was so fast

Interesting, I'm also a DCSB 3rd gen build.
My original estimate was 4/13, and 50% deposit paid mid February. No install date communicated yet.

Was there an express lane I didn't sign up for, or Is it because I have no instagram? :D

Dang, looks like i placed initial deposit almost a month before you too.
I'm not a squeaky wheel by nature, but this has me a bit WTF

Damn! I've got a 3rd gen long bed, and I paid my 50% back at the end of January with a mid-March estimate, but so far it's been radio silence here too

Y’all should just reach out to Cindy. She will shoot you straight. It’s easy to feel like you’re getting shafted when you’re antsy and getting excited/bummed by what you read online.
I was in your shoes, I’m confident I was in the first 10 orders based on conversations with Spencer, and I have camper 18. It’s not first come first served like you would think. There are factors involved beyond the truck platform.

I figure as much. LB/SB, the color of the camper and the color of the tent, etc. I'm sure they're doing the various components in production batches for the sake of efficiency, or at least they should be! I had reached out a few weeks ago and Cindy had told me "hopefully by the end of the month", but it wasn't a guarantee, and I don't want to bother them unnecessarily.

That's absolutely what I've been telling my impatient self. The later our production build, the more little issues will be solved by the time it's ready.

Of course I get it, I'm just grouchy BC I'm in that window where prior setup is sold, and I'm looking forward to a couple trips in April. (without a ground tent, ya?)

There are a bunch of factors in play, and lots of theories floating around, but when you see 2 identical platforms, and the only variables are paint/tent color, it gets simpler.

And we all saw there were some struggles getting the fitment right on long beds, older gens, etc... but 3rd gen short bed seems to have been pretty dialed in as it was the prototype platform.

So yeah, maybe paint color if black gets the largest batches. That would make sense.
