The PAC AmpPro will create clean RCA outputs to add addition amps, and this can be paired with the PAC APH harness to allow utilization of factory wiring without cutting.
The negative of the amppro is that the JBL amp must stay connected

if you want to fully remove the JBL amp, you need the DSR1 and applicable harness

i already have the aftermarket subs on their own amp. i just want to move the door speakers to their amp. i don’t understand why there are three clusters of wires and why there are so many, from the jbl amp.

i guess the other option would be to wire everything from scratch.

Are you keeping your stock radio? I assume you are I replaced mine with a alpine ilx 207
The harness just allows me to eliminate running all new wires to the doors

If you have an aftermarket head unit, why are you even bothering with the JBL amp? Run some RCA’s to a new amp, and connect the PAC APH harness (either ty-12 or ty-04 maybe?) and call it a day

Exactly what he said above the Dsr1 is not needed yes I am using a maestro module in the dash to retain the backup camera in the mirror and it also displays the tire pressure info on my radio
But really now that’s about it since I’m eliminating the Jbl system
I am installing 2 zapco amps and a zapco Dsp
    To 2 JL 10tw3 subs

here’s why i typed in post #1 as to what my goal is. swap jbl amp out but still use factory plugs so i don’t have to rewire anything.

“i’ve already changed my door speakers and i have aftermarket subs with an amp. last is to swap out the stock jbl amp. any easy way to do this with these connectors?”

The pac harness you will only use two of the three plugs but like I said earlier tone the wires or use a 9v to test each speaker because the wire colors do not match up like they should it is used for several different toyota vehicles it also states this in the paper that comes with the pac harness

ah... thank you for explaining i would no longer need three plugs. that was really throwing me off. i only have six total door speakers, then the amp power, ground and remote, and i'm staring at three connectors with a billion wires coming out of them.

so with those pac connectors i should be able to wire them directly to my new amp, after figuring out which wire is which.

everyone: sorry if i hadn't provide enough info along the way, didn't know!!
