I love AMS myself. Their testing proves them to be the best in the business.

I bedlined my entire old 96 Tacoma. Raptor liner is really good, do a good sand. Get a self etching primer then wash, then spray. I think you'll be happy with the results

New Project: Overhead Four Port Switch Panel (Me-So Customs)
Thanks to @SchistHappens for selling me his Me-So Customs 3-D printed Four-SOS switch panel for my overhead project!
    IMG_8454.jpg

Let the FUN begin... so many switch possibilities!!!
Honestly - I love these Me-So 3D printed switch panels. I wish Toyota had put more effort into this market - it has really helped in a lot of the customizations I've done to my Taco so far.
    IMG_8455.jpg

For sure - the Clazzio heated seat mod needed this panel - but I wasn't sure if I wanted to go with the dual switch or the single switch. Both look good - so still sitting on the fence about this.
If ANYONE has done this - let me know which one you did - and what kind of issues you ran into with the single or dual switch controller. Thanks!

Following up on my previous post about this tag light replacement LEDS, these were fairly easy to install. God rest @Tullie D but his post about how to change out the tag lights came in rather handy today. I HIGHLY recommend using a slim trim removal tool to take these out. You do have to put a little effort to remove the OEM ones, but once out, quick install. The lights themselves have no polarity. So it really is just "plug and play."

    Installation:

    20210326_150833.jpg 20210326_151242.jpg 20210326_151351.jpg 20210326_151353.jpg 20210326_151427.jpg 20210326_151514.jpg 20210326_151903.jpg 20210326_151905.jpg 20210326_151933.jpg 20210326_151936.jpg 20210326_152022.jpg 20210326_152151.jpg 20210326_152158.jpg

    Some night shots:

    20210326_212508.jpg 20210326_212601.jpg

Replaced the windshield wiper blades. Driver side had started "skipping" (which drives me insane while driving). Plus with all the rain we're getting here lately, I'm curious to see how there Autozon Duratec one work out.

    20210326_175312.jpg

And also added to my small patch collection from @Stormpeacock

    20210326_175706.jpg

Also changed out my fog lights to some aftermarket pods from FCKLIGHTING. Not a bad install, but certainly a pain the arm (and ass) to change all this stuff out.
(As a side bar: Yes, I have read there are some bad/neg reviews with them, but I bought them and I'm content with my purchase.)

They are worlds different, the led headlights are worth their price considering they cost as much as newer 3rd party Led junk. Here's a comparison of led bulbs in oem projector housing vs the led headlights.

If you're asking where I got it, I bought it from Rough Country:

    https://www.roughcountry.com/led-tailgate-light-strip-78860.html?find=2016-toyota-tacoma-4wd-738569

They offer 60 and 49 inch one. I got the 49 inch (midsize truck). It's kept on there with strong 3M Tape. I've had it on there not quite a year.

It's rather easy install. It has a reverse light built into it as well. I tapped into the reverse wire running behind the trailer connector.

Yes, let us dive. So right off the bat I really like how small the footprint is on the fender. In comparison to whats on the market, specifically the piece of snorkel on the fender, the Alpha is a better looking/sleeker design, in my opinion. That is where the positives end for me, don't like the carbon fiber even thou it could be painted. I know, painting carbon fiber, someone just threw up in their mouth. The deal breaker for me is the location of the air intake opening. I freaking hate it. The opening should be on the other side. Really, I don't have any technical facts or wind tunnel data as to why the opening should be on the inside, thats just how I want it. Of course my 2 cents.

I do however have an email conversation going on for this built in Australia. https://cutt.ly/IxZXTou

Next batch leaves the down under to the states May-ish time frame with 60-90 days on the container ship. But, I want one in black and I plan to install it on the channel.

It’s a uptop alpha. No exaggeration prob the best customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Between them and diode dynamics. If I can use them on my vehicle I will every time.
