:rofl:for real, they do look good on his truck. Kinda tired of seeing the same old stuff on tacomas. Like color combos, same wheels, stuff like that.

Hit up @BSK and ask him what the fix was. Might be the same, might not. I do remember us pulling his door panel for a trail fix in a light rain because his drivers door window came off the guides and fell in the bottom of the door.

This was the front window guide bolt #5 in the above diagram.. We put it back in twice that day.

Mine did this in the middle of the desert in nevada a few years ago. Ripped it apart in some famous elvis-stopover hotel and put it back together

    Those clips shouldn't break!

I wonder if mine still does it. Should find out shortly now that window down weather is here.

Well you know me and breaking shit! Ha...I know there are a few back door clips stuck down between the exterior and interior metal frame, plus I crushed one, so I ordered extras for whenever I upgrade the audio/sound deadening.

If you go about this check.. Be easy on the bolts in the window tracks. NO ugga dugga's, The sheet metal is thin. I don't want you to strip out the threads.

    Just saying.

Yeah I no use power tools...probably should get a "one key" that can be adjusted for torque, haha!

I think it maybe a loose bolt or clip kinda issue, when I rest my knee into the arm rest area the rattle goes away. Not too big a deal, but would prefer to avoid replicating these stories.

He sent the pics to me and I was, "I know that truck. I know that guy." I was confused because he lives near Richmond. Then I remembered he's working on a house he has in Linden. He said your truck is nice. And clean.

what a lovely time, at least it was only twice right?

Completely unrelated, was anyone on here cruising 95 south around 10am in a white taco (maxtrax on a roof/sweet front bumper)? If you are on here, the idiot that was staring at you from a stripped yellow Jeep was me. Just wanted to say I like your truck.

Was a fun one. The first tear down we were all easy on it. The second was a quick, pro, rip a part. Haha.
