Do you mind sharing how you cut those? I have an extra set of D Rings and wanted to put them in and I also have the OEM bed mat. Was thinking is it better to drill or is it better to punch through? I'd appreciate any advice before I screw up completely ... :)

I thought the OEM bedmat had cutouts that went around the bolts?

He added extra d-rings to the front of the bed.

It does. Those additional D-rings are mounted at the front of the bed in a longbed where the bedmat covers the existing T55 bed mounting bolts.

Yes it definitely does. I am looking to put two in the front (left and right side) so that I have 4 corners for strapping stuff down. I did that on my 2005 Tacoma SR5 (but didn't have a bed mat). Super useful. I ended up using them all the time. Two straps from the back crosswise. Was a huge help in securing things I needed to move or haul.

I really like that! I usually think long beds look best on access cabs, but that accent really evens it out your double cab. More DCLBs should do something like this, imho.

Finally installed my meso steering wheel emblem cover, been sitting on the shelf for months. Last piece of Chrome is gone.

    No problem.
Take the bed bolts out (T55) - center the mat as best as you can and punch a [pilot] hole through where the bolt goes - I took the mat out of the truck and then used a 3” hole saw to make a nice cut - grind/file down the ridges around the top washer so it slides off [do not cut it off] - slide d-ring onto bolt then slide the washer back on - bolt back down to the bed.
I don’t know the torque so I just tightened it down as much as I could, I’ll readjust later, maybe.

I saw the long version, it looks like it will interfere with a roof rack so no go there for me as well.

Got around to installing USB charging that is easily accessible as opposed to the inside of the center console. Thinking back I should have swapped the data one with the one in the center console but to late now lol. fed it all through expandable loom as it just looks cleaner and zip ties it all to the OE wiring. Kind of stupid the display is frosted instead of clear but atleast it gives an accurate reading.
