What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Installed a Fabfours steel rear bumper

 

Spotted @Dex__43 in my driveway ( back visiting from Missouri). Got a lot done with him today. Replaced CV/Diff dust seal (was leaking), drilled through my bruteforcefab bumper to install the BAMF bumper reinforcement brackets, drilled through sliders and frame to finally install the bamf tcase skid and complete the trilogy after getting my exhaust reroute earlier this week, installed durobump front bumpstops, greased my driveline, installed toyota-halos on my grill @FishnTx sent me, and removed something called a "sway bar".

 

I have heavy dakars in my dclb. I hate to tell you this but if you don't put a crapload of stuff in the back of your single cab, they will never settle

 

Took the studs off and put my stt pros back on

 

Step 1 complete.

 

Step 1 is actually "drink beer".

 

Primered and paint on one side of my rear platform board. Replaced the broken passenger side mirror with the one I bought on Facebook Marketplace, only to find that one is broken also. At least it's not as broken as the original. Removed the spare tire mount. Welded up the rtt mounts I started the other week. A few of the welds didn't turn out super pretty but they certainly aren't going anywhere. Just need to finish cleaning them up and throw on some paint.

 

Head light restoration used the 3m kit off Amazon. Happy with the results!

 

I remember my first dakkar squeak..

 

Today I cursed it, then made up to it. We had reunion makeup auto sex afterwards.

Got the light bar mounted up, still need to get it wired in.

 

Looking good! I've got one of those gunmetal clamps too but the braided hose I used was just slightly smaller so it wouldn't clamp tight on the hose. Given how much fun it was to attach the hose to the PCV back there I didn't want to redo that just yet.
