Another one of my fav stadiums was 3 rivers. Seen many pirates games there.
Mets and Pirates with my Grams and Granpap in the late 70's when we did a bus tour
With the Moose and Mooseheart out of Illinois was my fav!!

So, After a mixdown, I usually am super stoked to head out to the driveway to the jlur because it has an absolutely, fantastic, bone stock Alpine system.
The lows, mids and highs are incredible to say the least and most forums call this system trash.

I disagree..It's very spacious, stereophonic. I believe this is because of the soundbar above my head.

Anyway...After my mixdown of "I was made for loving you" by Kiss, I was super excited to go play it in the suv. Because, if it sounds good in the jeep, i'm ready to share it to SC.

    Complete ass, garbage.
5 hrs of playing drums, guitar, bass.
almost 6 am and i'ma try and mix again. pfft.

Met Ted Nugent once. Kind of a dick. I was working at the airport and Damn Yankees were in town. Saw this dude at the baggage carousel that looked like Ted, so I went up to him and asked. I was pretty sure it was him, had a bow on his back, pre 911 so that was still cool. He gave me that up and down who the hell are you look and said yeah, then turned away. I just chalked it up to a shitty flight and not in the mood for people. Oh well....

That kinda sucks. He's a character that's for sure.

My step Dad used to know Fred Bear, said Ted was wild.

Meh, never been much into Ted's stuff so never bothered me. Now if it had been Tommy Shaw that would have sucked...

Ran into a few over the years, never really cared to meet any. I usually just leave them alone, always getting bugged by people anyways or security keeping people away. Have always wanted to meet Jerry Rice tho...

Met John Mellencamp a few times over the years while living in Bloomington.
Once when I was fresh out of high school at the mall.

When I worked at a trim shop, one of my 1st jobs was a convertible top on his 58 chevy impala. (seen in the rooty toot toot, and I think Rumble seat videos).

Sometime after that, I met his then wife, Elaine Erwin in walmart of all places and then again up on campus.

His oldest daughter and I are friends on FB and she's married to a guy my friend and I used to jam with. She graduated from the same high school as me I think 3 years after I did. We ran in different circles but would run into each other down town.

Used to play basketball at the apartments by my house with Steve Alford and Ewe Blab when they played for I.U. Used to get high with Ewe's then gf.

Also would run into Bobby Knight and his son Patrick all the time on campus.

Small world. Spent a lot of time in Bloomington as a kid, late 70s/early 80s timeframe. Have a brother that still lives there, sister in Martinsville. I'm about an hour and a half south these days.

Never met anyone famous back then lol.

I've met quite a good bit of guitar players/musicians. Steel Panther are some of the nicest guys. I've met a lot of newer bands like The Pretty Reckless, Sixx AM (totally starstruck by Nikki Sixx but the dude's a douche so much as if I ever met them again I'd be like whatever dude), Five finger death punch, papa roach... The cool dudes I've met are Anthrax multiple times, Corey Taylor, Testament, Exodus, Jackyl, others I can't think of on the spot. It's always cool meeting guitar heros. Scott Ian is a good dude.

Stumbled into a 2015 Gibson Midtown this past weekend. Traded a les paul tribute that i rarely played plus some cash on top. The thing screams! I'll try and get some pics uploaded at some point.
