    Oh I just meant, I had my bumper sitting by the side of the house for a good while before I threw it on the Tacoma.

    It was only because I didn't own a strong enough drill, and proper bits, to drill into the frame end piece for that long bolt.

    Suspension I already had on though.

    Only if you promise to ask a question I've already answered, and tag a mod to say I've been following and harassing you considering all I've done is post a walk-through with detailed pics on said install.

    It'll require someone coming back to this thread, and tagging me, so I can mention how much of an idiot said poster is.

    @Abeyancer is pretty good at this, he seems to watch the same threads I post in.

    @01x4

    I am glad I took as many side pics of the Tacoma as I did, with varying weight.

    The Dakar leaf pack isn't meant to handle much over stock, but still handled a good 200lbs constantly loaded, while still netting 2" of lift.

    I try to for a lot of things; it allows me to provide a small bit of information based on said experience.

    I had planned for the Chevy 63 leaf swap in conjunction with a rear shock relocation, since we all know the stock rear shock location can only net so much travel.

    Still planning a rear shock relocation on the 4R though.

    Too much work for the limited down time.

    Though, all of that could change with a new house + welder.

    Just not making any promises to myself, or anyone here, unless I'll fully commit.

    @Speedytech7

    So here's one for ya, with some diagnostic on my end.

    4Runner wouldn't turn on right away, not sure if you saw my post.

    Issue - put key in, I always wait several seconds, then turn key - single click.

    Try to crank again, single click.

    Turn key all the way to off, then on, sometimes will crank and fire, other times a single click.

    Symptoms point to bad contacts in my starter solenoid.

    One thing I've noticed recently, and 4 out of 4 times so far has proven it...if I put the key in, when I turn it to the ON position, if I crank it within the 3 seconds of putting it to the ON position, it fires up right away like normal.

    I'll try again when I leave work tonight, but so far it fires up right away if I crank the vehicle immediately after putting the key in and in the ON position.

    I mean, depending on how much weight you'll have...if it's going to be quite a bit, I'd heavily suggest going custom leaf pack like @eon_blue did.

    It's one thing getting a new leaf pack, and an AAL.

    I feel like that'd give you a stiff setup, for the sake of being able to carry a load.

    A custom leaf pack will allow proper flex/handling while still handling the load you carry.

    Stupid as it sounds make sure your battery terminals are clean and have a good connection. Had the same problem with a new battery and it was a weak connection at the battery

    I did, but thanks for mentioning it.

    The battery isn't even a year old, it's an Interstate battery, and the contacts are clean for sure.

    I didn't check the other grounds though, but I guess I'll take a look this next day off.

    Just kind of odd the way it acts up; points to the contacts. But now I found a way to start it up right away.

    It's parked for now. Blew up the axle seals and they need to be replaced and bearings need to be repacked.
