Well, the @FishnTx finger chopping incident reminded me of my own when I was a wee lad of 16. My parents had been looking for a bigger house and there happened to be one next door to my then girlfriend, Donna, which they ended up buying. After moving in my folks were going to get the old house ready to sell and asked me to watch my little brother and mow the grass. So I’m mowing and decided to adjust the wheel height. Note to self: Kill engine before adjusting wheel height. Like an idiot I stuck my hand underneath to raise it and chopped the ends off my ring and middle finger. So I’m bleeding profusely and go grab a towel and wrap it and tell my brother to get in my car. I was afraid I might pass out so I went and got Donna to drive me to the ER. Halfway there she realized they wouldn’t treat a minor without parents so she went to the old house and got them. They sewed my fingers back on and they look a little weird but they are good to go.

Long long ass time ago (long before I was even born) my grandmother who died in ‘16 chopped two of her fingers off in a meat grinder and I think she messed up one other finger that they where able to fix. She was missing two fingers at the knuckle that’s at the hand.
