So i verified that the shocks run out of extension before the brake lines get tight. So not gonna swap brake lines just yet. I had to drill holes in my bump stop brackets and the hardware I had on hand was slim pickins. I found bolts that were the correct thread, but too long so I had to load up washers for now. Good enough...but I'll get some shorter bolts this weekend.

Took 3 hours and 3 beers working alone but good to go. Rock lights came in handy once the sun went down.

We'll see how much it settles, but I gained about 1.5" on driver side and 1" on passenger side. For those that have replaced leaf packs, do you cut off the bracket from the parking brake cable since there's nowhere to bolt it to the leaf pack? Stock leafs have a bolt hole. This thing?

My Dakars had a threaded bolt hole.

    Looks good!
Icon RXT’s do not have a threaded hole; i zip tied it up toward the frame to keep it out of the way.

Looks like the bolts that attach the bump stop mount to the u-bolt bracket thing in the first photo.

Severely misread. I thought he was referring to his ubolt excess. I should have known better.

I zip tied the bracket in the past, but wondered if it was actually worth keeping instead of just cutting it off.

So did you get the package in time? As per the truck I have been told it is still on schedule. I am glad it is since many people have said they were told of a delay.

Yea I realized once I kept reading the thread. I have been away for a few days. Vacations are nice but having a teenage son is not as fun, kids these days. At least this is my last kid and the home will be empty in a few years.

Praise! Turned on my irrigation for the first time since the blizzard because I was afraid of how many repairs I'd have to do. And I am pleased to announce all is in perfect working order! Woot!
