If you are willing to weld up the coastal it isn't too bad to make your own. @Box Rocket made a good one that has some bedside protection without cutting the bedsides, I made a similar dual swingout one without the bedside protection that isn't perfect but I am happy with it. It was maybe $300 in steel, hardware for the swingout, and consumables to make it, and took me about a week vs a 10 week lead time.

 

I spy some ADS love there.

 

It has all the good modern features like a 1x drivetrain and 650b / 29’ wheel options. Looks like a nice bike to hit the streets and the mountain with. I don’t know pricing but looks good to me for a starter MTB!

 

Its like 2400$ out the box. But my buddy has one that was used a few times as a demo bike so he is willing to let me hit the trails with it before i decided buying and come down on the price a little
