Yeah I use to go through those cheap gold or silver colored Casio watches every couple of years back in the 70's & 80's. My sweat would eat the buttons up to the point they would not function. This Casio cost allot more and has more functions. Figure it will outlive myself. I took the plastic band off and have been using 3 ring Zulu ballistic straps. Love the look allot better not to mention those plastic bands are uncomfortable.

 

Been kinda dead in here lately.... post up more pics! Even if you’ve posted that watch already. I shamelessly post different pictures of the same watches!

Garmin Titanium

 

Waited a long time to get this. My AD called me a few weeks ago, and said it was ready for me.

 

Finally made it home to my new addition. Couldn't be happier with it.

 

Wifey surprised me with this Tissot Powermatic 80 automatic about 3 weeks ago. I love it, the understated style is just what I like. I work in a high school/district bookroom (warehouse & office, + library) so I won't wear it when the big shipments begin arriving for distribution next month or so. I have a $13 Casio for the heavy manual work and for out on the boat.

Marathon GSAR

 

Eh, it’s a rain day so I broke out the Casio. It’s a G-Lide LE. All the features of the classic G-Shock design, with added “phases of the moon” and “tidal graph”. Great watch for any surf or boat fisherman...

 

Funny you ask, I was actually trying to get some lume shots when I couldn't sleep last night. These were taken with night mode setting on my samsung phone. The close up is right after charging the lume for 30 seconds with the flash on my phone. The other is almost an hour later. You can see the shadow of the hour and minute hand from when I charged it. I'll see if I can get a picture of my sea ram sometime since that one is lumed indicators instead of lumed dial.
