When driving truck in the daytime, with the lights off, to the left of display screen, the options there are lit. But when you turn the lights on in the daytime. The display lights turn off and you can no longer see these button options. At least I can’t, because they are no longer lit. What is up with that. This is so stupid, words can't describe it.

Is it because when you turn the lights on, your truck 'thinks' it is dark out and turns down the illumination on the buttons? Things are routinely illuminated brighter in daytime vs nighttime. Can you see them at night?

Can you see them at night? Great question. To bad it does not pertain to the problem nor the question. Are you trying to tell us that the people behind putting this truck together, did never conceive of a person driving during the day, with the lights on, and if they did, well then they don't need to see these buttons. The truck thinks it is dark outside is the stupidest thing to say. It’s as if the technicians could not change this because they already convinced the truck that it was dark because the lights were on. And anyone acting like this is not a pain, is abnormal to begin with. Hopefully someone with an actual IQ could help find an end around to this problem.

Yeah, me too. You're obviously not smart enough to figure it out.

*Drives away in my truck during the daytime with lights on and everything perfectly visible*

Checked the truck hu display it is and has been in day time settings. And still no visible lighting of these certain displays when truck lights are on in the daytime. Good thing is, is that some geniuses here, have stated that the truck is functioning as it should. And that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Because the the truck is working as it is designed, does not mean it’s a good design. That’s why I am trying to find a way to correct it.
