Want to understand this a little better. So these go over the black vinyl that is already there? It is for better protection against scratches, wear, tear?

PS - Love the AG and the Yoda killroy. I have an AR Offroad on order.

I could go look, but it’s easier to ask. Are those available in clear for those that removed the vinyl?

EDIT: I got caught up on the thread and discovered the answer.

It's fantastic, well worth the time and money. Drastically extended our camping season.

Even with the alu-cab uninsulated at this point, it keeps the tent at 65 when it's 25 and windy.

I'm getting around 75-125 hours of heat out of an 11lb tank, depending on the settings.

Yes, they make a proprietary film that is scratch and fingerprint resistant and has some amount of self-healing ability. The kit they make for the instrument gauges and infotainment system is awesome and even covers existing scratches.

I would be willing to bet they are black because someone may already have a stone chip that blemished the vinyl allowing the body color to show through. If they were clear then you don’t get the repair aspect that the company is known for with their products and it would just be protecting an already damaged piece of vinyl. I actually may consider these now knowing they are black. Thanks for the info @Devious6!

Removed the factory predator pro running boards. I will probably install rock slider when I get the chance. I’m trading these running boards for a tonneau cover so that’s a win win for me. Btw, both running boards combined only weighed 26 lbs which kinda surprised me lol

I edited previous comment to say NOT. But yeah, I hate winter. Even those here in Mississippi. I can deal with heat. No a fan of the cold.

Of course the argument always goes, you can only take off so much clothing before it becomes illegal.:rofl:

So you mean the Pro does not come with the protective decals? I don’t know why people would want to take them off anyway.
