So I’m trying to install a prinsu access rack on my 07 access cab 4.0, and sure enough there isn’t tape anywhere in the rain gutter thingy, I tapped all along with a knife to make sure. what are my options and is this common with second gens/Tacoma’s in general.

Tape in the gutter? You mean like covering tapped holes in the roof for the install?
Because if you’re looking for factory holes in the roof, unfortunately the Access Cab requires drilling into the roof for install...
