Sorry, I wasn’t very clear upon re-reading my post. Reboot the phone, but don’t connect to OBD fusion. Do everything else normal. Just trying to make sure it’s something to do with OBD and not the phone in general.

well that process runs its course organically. Eventually the battery dies and after charging enough, all is normal. I should see if there's an update

Is there a list anywhere of what PIDs actually function on the tacoma? There are tons of ones that don't even apply. Like DEF fluid level, turbo pressure, etc.

I can not find the transmission temp. I have the extra Toyota PIDs. Can someone guide me there. Haha. I’ll share my screen when it’s completed. Thanks

If AT, go to installed Toyota PID/Transmission or type temperature in the Search line..
If you cannot find, you may need to rescan for PIDs and/or check with network you are connected to.

So when flashing my truck with VF Tuner I see a bunch of warning lights that come on. One of them says low oil pressure. But I have yet to find oil pressure pid

Are these persistent, or just during the flash process? If during flash, a whole series of warnings is common. But they clear after starting.

Just during flash. But my thought was there has to be a sensor to turn on the warning light. So where is it?

So after looking through the thread have any of you tried the torque app. I have it on a dedicated tablet I use for towing and my rv. I have not had any issues with it yet but I am waiting on my new Tacoma to verify that the PID's that I have will work. It works great on the 4Runner. Here is a pic of my setup. Some say "no data" because it is not connected currently but everything does work.

Really nice work! I haven’t tried torque, mostly because the last time I checked they didn’t support iOS.

I have an original iPad mini.... been sort of thinking about playing with it. A little worried that it might not have enough hp.

That was the only negative thing I found. But it gave me a reason to buy a dedicated tablet.

Yep, 7-8” tablets are probably pretty cheap. I don’t know it torque can do anything that OBD Fusion can’t. I see at least background though. I can do colors, but no graphics really.
