    Hey everyone,
discovered this forum after buying my 2019 Black Tacoma SR TSS. Glad I did as well as I've already read into a wide range of knowledge. Always looking for more information and recommendations throughout my future ownership of the Taco.
I currently don't have any immediate use for off-roading mods or anything like that but I do enjoy the badass look of some of y'all's. Not sure how I want to build out the truck but I do want to black out the little chrome I have left on the truck. Thank god the TSS package appearance caters to a general chrome delete with the exception of the ugly grille badge that supports TSS. I'd like to find a way to replace the badge with a smokey one or some sort of tint to nullify that nasty shine from the Chrome. Probably going to look into replacement light fixtures in the front and back, as well as throw in LEDs to replace the gross halogen bulbs.

I've already taken off the sticker decals on the tail-end and I think I might want to toss on some low-pro American flag decals while sticking to the black on black theme going on here.

I'll attach a few pictures of right when I bought it, and the tail-end after removing the stickers. Thank you in advanced for any advice/information/suggestions!

Welcome to TW! I love how the black Tacoma’s look de-badged and chrome deletes. For the lights I tinted all my lights to blend them in with the truck.

That's all it took? No after-market assemblies? If I can get away with just tinting it, I will 100% be down for that lol. As for the TSS grille badge, would the system still work if that was done to it? Thank you for the compliments by the way :)

You can tint the TSS sensor and it will still work. A light smoke tint is all that is needed to hide the chrome for the emblem. I used medium tint for all of the lights. And light smoke for the headlights (don’t want to mess with the light output from the headlights). I’ll post some pics. Tinting can run up to $400 for a great install, but it can be done on your own. It’s way cheaper than buying aftermarket lights to replace. One headlight costs $750! Doesn’t hurt to but light tint and protect it.

Oh that's mean. Did you do it yourself? I would rather not pay to have someone do something for me I can probably do myself lol. I'll take a look around to see where I can get some of that light smoke tint because man that is slick! thank you

No problem. I’m not good with wraps so I had it installed at a tint shop. The tint film itself is very cheap. I’m sure you can find it on Amazon.

    Welcome! Nice Truck!

Might be time to get your daughter a booster seat and have her face the other way around. That doesn't look comfortable.

Or maybe not, I don't have kids so I wouldn't know what what age/height to upgrade to the next size. She looks big enough for one from here though. You know what, it's probably for the best I don't have kids in that case...

Lol my wife is pretty adamant on her being rear facing for as long as possible. She’s 30lbs now and the seats are rated for 35...so she’ll be there til 35 and then just turn around lol. I’ve expressed that she should probably go front facing but I don’t wear the pants
