    Wife & I spent last weekend prepping the cabin for paint and all day yesterday painting. We got the front done and started on one side. Damn rain today definitely slowed our progress down, but hopefully next weekend is dry. I want to get this project over. My buddy dropped off some trout filets yesterday evening that he caught, great dinner with a ice cold beer after a hard day of work.

    I think they'll hold up ok. I just installed a set on my '21 OR. Like you I noticed they are pretty stiff. Out of curiosity I did beat the crap out of them (Hey, they're only $30 a set) and didn't break. That was around 40° temps. I like the "oldschool" look to them with the 4WD logo!

    That’s good to know. Those look good on yours, red and the white go well together. After a bit of driving, my tires rub on them so I’ll have to move the wheels forward and hope my alignment does not go out too much before I can get I checked again.

    I’m not sure about the exact detailing but im sure somebody can explain what it does a little bit better than I can. Maybe @dave5623 @RedDeadTaco
    @Russty__
    @68dave can chime in their expertise.
    I’ve been contemplating this for the last two years and done a lot of reading and research on the matter. My only two issues with this truck (ThirdGens) is The slight hesitation when pushing the Excelerator before the vehicle actually gets up and goes. And the chasing of gear issue. As soon as I got in my truck after Dave tuned it I really felt a difference. Push the gas the vehicle goes immediately. And the shift points are right where they should be. On the highway going 65 to 70 miles an hour the shifting was all over the place especially when using cruise control and going down hills and up. With the tune I no longer have those issues.

    To be honest I have no idea haha. I think there’s only one for the mt? Haha maybe I should ask @dave5623

    it just opens up the engine a bit. It’s not like a v8 swap or anything crazy haha. But it’s definitely noticeable. It took out that crazy power jump at high rpm and spread out the power throughout the rpm range. I also noticed more low end torque. I’ll report back about mpg gains if any. If you want to give it a test drive let me know. You can take it out. Mostly stock truck with 285’s
