I thought you could fold it all back so you get full bed use? I swore something showed us what or maybe it’s just me hiking for it. I’d def mien to be able to use full bed standing if needed

You can have the full bed deployed and you still have 20" of standing room at the back. That's not enough room for me.

Gotcha I was talking about folding the bed back so you can get more. If you wanted you could have the whole open and use the over and as a desk or partially open

Oh I see. Yeah, I figure I'll have gear up at that end which will make it difficult to stand there. Could move it of course. But that's a good point. I could pull the bed platform out half way and use that as a desk.

I'm just thinking of the new GFC config. They have a kind of modular plate system that you can set up in a variety of different ways, single shelf on the back, on the side, on the front. Makes for a handy desk that doesn't take up all the standing room.

I paid my 1/2 few weeks back and Cindy told me 6 weeks ish. My original estimate date is may. Looks like a slim chance I’ll be picking it up late April.

I was thinking wrapping the roof with a layer of material to prevent sun damage and lighting

Another good idea. But I think halving or adjusting the existing plate makes more sense so I don't have to carry an extra piece. Thanks.

very true I would figure if you go ply wood it would replace it not add. my only issue would be weight. Plywood adds up

My corner panel is best option I’ve seen so far, where are you thinking?
Have you installed them in a roof less than the minimum 1” thick? I have no qualms with the height it adds.

I don’t need the fan when the tent is open, I need it when everything is closed up so my surfboards and fishing plastics don’t melt. Roof cutting is necessary.
Size of the channels? Or tee nuts to use in them? I have these, but tnutz has different sized hardware options:

A lot. But that honeycomb stuff looks like it needs an aluminum edge piece to keep from fraying, so I think I'm basically talking about asking Spenser if he'll make the moveable bed platform piece into two pieces. But before that I need the height measurements to see it the height is right. Anyway...

The sides are UHMW poly c channel from McMaster carr, you can easily modify them. You can also order sheets of the material, it’s just a little expensive in small batches

Yah I guess that works on my Prinsu/80/20 I just use carriage bolts works out well. I removed all my lighting and solar this weekend so figuring out how I’m going to remount it.

does anyone know the distance between the channels on top? I’m viewing between 42 and 48 which determines which panel. I may switch to flexible ones but I have hard panels now

Ok there with ya. Or will be as is for now. I was considering getting a bulb seal for install. Do they use any bulb seals or just put it on as is?

The extrusion tracks on the roof of the camper? From edge to edge, passenger to driver side?
