So the overhead compartment that is made for the remote works great.Why is it "shitty"?

 

i Velcro'd mine onto the plastic cover on the windshield that hides the wires going to the rear view mirror IMO it is a very discrete look Ill have to take a pic and post it basically just sits right above the rear view mirror

can't see it very well, but it's siting in there.

 

I pulled the clip off, put on double sided tape and stuck it below my AC dials between the 2 outlets on the curved down part. out of sight and out of the way.

Try it again. This time hold the buttons down a little longer.

The first time I did this, I thought I just had to "hit" the button. Hold the button down awhile.

 

I tried programming it with the remote and with the learn button and nothing

 

Im still wondering how you wire it to the brights. Is the only way with the "flash to pass" thing?

 

When I did mine, you had to wait awhile. It was not just touch the button. It was hit the button and hold.
