A very good explanation of why it is there. It will stay on mine. *EDIT* The resonator box quote did not show up. Guy had linked the explanation as to why the box is there, makes sense.

Got my first scratch on front bumper. Hit a little thing In garage. Yelled fuck. And was made for a little while. Some 2000 grit and touch up paint will suffice

I installed a grey Softopper, Delete in Reverse mod, and a 3rd brake light w/ turn signals. There is a video of the 3rd brake light / turn signals in action on the build thread in my signature.

I had honestly considered some black rhino beadlocks, or even using rrw's hybrids, in a bead lock config.

I had beadlocks on my F150, and they were cool, but the maintenance. At this point in my life I genuinely won't ever find the time to check torque on them regularly like you should. And since the taco carries my wife and kids, I just don't want to deal with it.

Sorry bout that! Here's the link to why the mailbox looking resonator device is on the intake tube:

    https://itstillruns.com/air-intake-resonator-do-12156112.html

Anyone care to explain why the Magnuson supercharger doesn't have the resonator box? Maybe it's built-in?

Put a Dobinsons kit on today. I noticed the front pads were about due so I took care of that while I was in there as well. No pic of the after yet. Pretty easy job overall.20210328_153804.jpg

My guess would be that the super charger is putting constant pressure toward the valves, while a normally aspirated engine is always under a vacuum. But I'm not an engineer.

Today's chore involved "surgery" on the door speakers. Not an overwhelming task, but nonetheless, it took some time and patience. These were some speakers that @Jthizz2006 recommended, and I have to say these are leaps and bounds better than the factory ones. Speakers aren't normally things I care too much about, but in this case, it was a must. I didn't put any sound deadening on (I know, I know --- very much recommended), but wasn't a priority. Right now .

Probably total time was about 2-3 hours to do all 4 doors. Removing screws and paneling is one thing. Re-assembly can be a bit more tedious. Especially when the interior doors handles themselves can be a PITA.

    Anywho, it's done.

    Driver side old speaker:

    Rear passenger:

(And in case anyone who might be wondering, the 2 wires hanging out of the door panel are the wires for the KTJO bowl lights -- which I will have to replace one. The wire snapped on one.)

Questions on the Pro grille: Did your truck come with a front camera or was that one of your mods? And did you cut it to fit?

An audio upgrade is a must with this truck. Nice work.

Next time you need to take your doors off, I'd recommend just disconnecting the door handle cables from the back of the handle. Much easier and faster to do.
