I was hoping I could drive it up to him and show him, shot him a follow up email and didn't hear back. He gave me his cell though, might try it when the car is done.

@tymeson took the bike out and then ended up buying it. Now its sitting at the bike shop getting a fox dropper seat on it already because I didn’t like the fact you needed a allen key to adjust hight

This truck is always used as an example for when GVWR goes out the window. It's cool but I really want to know what it weighs. The Tundra they did makes a bit more sense.

Dropper is nice when you want to avoid dying. I never touch my seat even with a clamp lever style.

On my old bike i have this spring that shoots the seat up to my ride hight when i losen it then i can push it back down for the down hills.

this new bike I couldnt adjust the seat at all unless i got off and got a Allen key.
but the best part is i got the bike and dropper plus install for less then the msrp on the bike so that was pretty rad. I was just gunna change the clamp so i can aleast drop adjust it without tools

Yeah the bike is basically all I need in its stock forum. All it needed was a easy way to adjust the seat. But i got a deal on the dropper so I couldn’t pass it up

Learning pains sure do hurt sometimes :pout:

Share a story to make you feel better. I was 19 and had a 87 VW that I was trying to "rebuild" while it was my daily. Did a trans filter and fluid service and didn't realize you were supposed to fill the trans from the dipstick tube. Filled the pan up with as much fluid as it would hold and then spilled half of it all over myself as I attempted to reinstall the pan.

Drove it like that 100 miles before I asked the guys at work (I was at a heavy equipment rental yard) why it felt funny shifting.

It kept running but burnt DTF by the quart. Whenever it would shift like a dragster with a valve kit, I knew it was time to add more fluid:laughing:

Can you look into the ECU to see if there are any burn marks or burned or blown chips? I've seen people fix their blown 5th gen ECUs. There must be an ECU diagram somewhere to get this.
