My guess would be that the super charger is putting constant pressure toward the valves, while a normally aspirated engine is always under a vacuum. But I'm not an engineer.

Today's chore involved "surgery" on the door speakers. Not an overwhelming task, but nonetheless, it took some time and patience. These were some speakers that @Jthizz2006 recommended, and I have to say these are leaps and bounds better than the factory ones. Speakers aren't normally things I care too much about, but in this case, it was a must. I didn't put any sound deadening on (I know, I know --- very much recommended), but wasn't a priority. Right now .

Probably total time was about 2-3 hours to do all 4 doors. Removing screws and paneling is one thing. Re-assembly can be a bit more tedious. Especially when the interior doors handles themselves can be a PITA.

    Anywho, it's done.

    Driver side old speaker:

(And in case anyone who might be wondering, the 2 wires hanging out of the door panel are the wires for the KTJO bowl lights -- which I will have to replace one. The wire snapped on one.)

Questions on the Pro grille: Did your truck come with a front camera or was that one of your mods? And did you cut it to fit?

An audio upgrade is a must with this truck. Nice work.

Next time you need to take your doors off, I'd recommend just disconnecting the door handle cables from the back of the handle. Much easier and faster to do.

Well at 175k miles I changed my plugs for the second time and I'm glad I did! This it 100k on these plugs and they are melted pretty good, 2 out of 6. Maybe that's why toyota suggests it sooner than 100k. And got a new belt, old one squealed and was cracked. Also changed pedal pads to the old 79-83 style, I like them alot more and they look better. Lol.

Of all the 'cool' things I have done to my baby, the 2 absolute most practical and every day actually useful are the pop-n-lock for the tailgate and the OEM bed mat...highly recommend both

Only have a handful of shakedown miles as of now. Its stiffer than my sport suspension but not terrible.
