So I have about 300 miles on the Squatch Daily Special from @Mooseditty17 and I gotta say, this thing does pretty well towing.

    Disclaimer: 4.88s, 32’s (255’s)
I also like the Kruiser 4.0 by @PapaRee very much as well. A bit more power with a bit less mpg.

I avg 12-14mpg towing 3500-5000lbs. Shifts great and cruses great.

Now, without towing anything, this tune is pretty damn impressive. Smooth shifting and a very well balanced TC lock and unlock ratio for the freeway. Slower speeds are just downright silly for the mpg, but at 65-75mph with my setup this is a seriously good tune. The power delivery, tip-in, and shifting is about as good as it gets so far for me.

This was today towing my boat and trailer (500lbs)

Just wanted to give a well deserved shout out to Kreg (PapaRee)! Was impressed with Kruiser, but think I am going to love the updated tune even more! Only two short drives so far, but so far am really happy happy happy! Appreciate the time you put into this! Would never misappropriate your work! I learned early in life to always give credit to who it is due! Thanks brother!:cheers:

Nice tune Chad! Been running it all weekend. Shift point are spot on and smooth. Seems to hold gears as good as I've seen. I haven't got a lot of miles on it, but so far it's been great. I also believe I'm getting a bump in MPG which is a nice bonus :) Thanks for sharing!

Has anyone tried something like this for ignition timing high knock Direct? And low also? A little nervous to go full send it!

I just started logging recently. I was already running tunes so I didn't pick up any baseline numbers. I'm curious about a few values. Trans temp, knock fb, kclv. I'm just starting to go down the rabbit hole. Looks like torque converter temps will toy with 200 in traffic but the pan temps are pretty solid at a high of 195. It takes 30 minutes of driving to get to temp though. On the Lexus forum they look for kclv above 20 but I'm still not seeing anything clear on knock fb value. Any wisdom?

Thanks papa, I follow that part, but am wondering if I bought your current tune, would it be better (financially) to wait until map switching is out. Will that be a separate tune at additional cost if we’re already on your tune. Just trying to not spend dollars that I don’t have to.

I found even just small 1 degree adjustments can result in the truck knocking and retarding timing which leads to less power and worse mpg. You maybe able to squeeze a little bit out of it if you're running premium, but not a lot, and it's pointless without using a dynojet.

I would update because I don't know how long it will be before the map switching is out.

Your KCLV will vary depending on the Octane and depending on your tune settings. To track it, make sure you are on the same octane each time. Mine runs 26-28 on my tune on 93 octane. But if I run the Regular octane tune, it will drop down to 20-22.
The Knock F/B varies, but tries to stay at -3. If the ECU detects knocks/detonation, it will adjust up or down to fix it and this number will change temporarily. You will see in logs that this number will go up or down every once in a while, but the ECU does a good job to keep it at -3. You do not want to see it go lower than -5 for long periods, nor higher than 5 for long periods.

Thanks for the details. Any idea about stock transmission temps? The answers online vary from 175f to 275f and I was going to get a baseline without having to drive to work on my stock tune. I'm about to drive about 50 hours through Colorado and Utah next month so I want to have everything on lock to cure my paranoia
