Beautiful weekend here coming to an end. Hope ya'll had a decent one too

 

Saturday was an amazing spring day. I'm that guy that doesn't sit very much. ALWAYS something to do. My girl had gotten me a 2 person hammock at Christmas. She asked to see it set up Saturday. So I found a couple of trees well suited and had it up in the sun. We ended up sitting in it for almost two hours as we drank up the sun, and a bottle of cheap Prosecco. Ended up being the most chill/best date we've had in a looooong time. Followed that up with ribeyes over wood charcoal and a fire in the pit.

Then Sunday was that kind of day that feels 15 degrees colder than it is. Such is life.

Today's adventures; so it appears the 2nd gen lives on through my 3rd gen...




Same damn spill as my 2nd gen! I had a funny feeling it would do this so I put the cardboard further twords the drivers side tire. Nailed it, the cardboard that is

The worst part was having to take the skid plate off, and even that isn't bad. To my surprise the filter housing wasn't on there terribly tight at all! Some don't like it, but the little plastic drain nipple that comes with the filter is handy.



And this filter tool is a must!



All complete, just needs a bath tomorrow. The underside is still a little dirty from all the mud...
