Morning all. Unfortunately, my Monday started about 6:00 last night when one of our recent missing persons was located deceased in the north end of our county. Crime scene investigation indicates a homicide, so now my division and I get to do our thing. Going to be a long week, I’ll check back in when I can.

 

Gym time. Assembly of the dreaded chuck box finally. I'll admit that thing kicked my ass. Have not done any woodwork in decades, and I don't think I'll do any for a few more. And, I hate painting with a brush. Crazy right?
Y'all be safe out there, especially @Cwopinger. That retirement can't get here soon enough.

I get the second shot on the 19th, then wait the 2 weeks. Might be able to get another DV trip in before it gets too hot.

Cloudy now. Sunny and windy later.
We are planning on redoing another room this year. It's the wife's music room.
She was planning on carpet for the floor. Now it's laminate wood flooring. It doesn’t matter to me cause I'm not doing the floor. I don't want to deal with the piano. Last year I re-did a room for her Mary Kay office. The year before that was the master bath.

Very windy here also. I hate strong south winds. Only next door neighbor I have lives to the south. He has been redoing his house for the last 3 years. Today I was picking up insulation.
