That is quite awesome, and something I may try to replicate. Thanks for the write up. One question, my Bravo rack is in process. How did you mount your Pelican's to the Bravo? Did you go with their hardware or fashion your own? I'd like to find a secure option to not drill through the case, but looks like there isnt too much out there for this method.

I drilled through the Pelican's to mount them. Pelican did come out with some roof rack bins this time last year that have latches that lock, but they're in high demand, so I haven't seen them in stock anywhere.

    https://www.thecasestore.com/Shop/Accessories/Case/Cargo-Case-Hardware
    https://www.thecasestore.com/shop/accessories/case/cargo-case-hardware/roof-mount-universal-clamp

I can't fit in my garage either way, so I don't really care if my cases stay mounted. These are also pretty good cases for their price point. The ROAM cases are popular now but don't seem to hold up as well (rusting latches, etc) but still cost $300 compared to these Pelican's $200.

Took a little road trip yesterday. I like the way it drives. Road noise is not bad, (really quite compared to the Honda Element we just got rid of) engine seems a little loud but I think they all are nowadays. The lane assisted steering takes a little getting used to. On the way home I used it and it will almost drive itself on the interstate.

I love the “Panic” button. What is it covering, and where did you get it?

Is that the Land Cruiser model Cascadia 4x4 VSS System? How do you like it thus far?

Its the 3rd gen Tacoma VSS model, but they do make a model for the Land Cruiser as well. It's working great so far, but I haven't really stress tested its capabilities yet. Moab for a week next week should put it through its paces. I plan to leave my roof rack lights on for hours from dusk to bed time. We'll see how she does!

    USELESS INFORMATION WARNING!

Not that this is important, but you guys do know that amazon isn't actually responsible for this, right? Very few things on amazon are actually from amazon. It's 3rd party sellers/retailers who are selling the items. They write the descriptions, they provide images (except for certain circumstances when someone piggybacks off an existing ASIN), and everything else. When you see a "prime" item, it's that way because said 3rd party has paid to ship an inventory to an amazon warehouse, for amazon to manage and ship accordingly. The 3 exclusions to this are the few items that you see with "sold by Amazon.com" under the buy button (in which case it's because amazon saw enough volume and margin to invest in their own inventory), items that are amazon exclusive like echo items, fire_ items, etc., and items which are branded "amazon basics" (which by the way are/were 3rd party seller items which amazon saw enough of a demand for to contract their own manufacturing for the product, typically through the original 3rd party seller).

I know this because I used to do this every day :)

Just thought it's good knowledge to know. So when you see weird stuff floating around, it's whoever actually wrote the listing (not an amazon employee)

Nice work! The one I bought on Amazon doesn’t really hold the coins that well, they tent to pop out. You must drive through a lot of tolls with that much change capacity.

Looks good! I would use ABS if that is PLA. PLA will warp in the sun/heat. Also, maybe print it in black? I don't know if your interior is white or has white accents :bananadead: but to each their own!
