Rancho Quicklift's with leveling kit

So kind of a dumb question. I am in need of new struts, the coils are so compressed so I'm looking into decent struts. I have a 3" block on top of my stock struts.

I see that the Rancho Quicklift adds 1.75" of lift, would I have to modify anything to keep my lift blocks or do yall think it'll be fine? I have Dakar leafs in the back and I have a reverse Carolina lean so I'm thinking if I kept my 3" blocks and the quick lifts it will even everything out, just dont want to screw myself if I got struts that add even more of a lift. Thanks guys!

 

Nope, ditch the pucks, you will opening up a can of worms if you use the pucks with the 1.75" lift of the Quicklifts.

 

Thanks fellas, I'll probably go with stock struts. Any particular brand? I've heard bad things about Monroe, what are good/bad brands?

 

Don't put the pucks back in and just run the Rancho's or use Bilstein's. I have the Rancho's and have had no problems with them but it is all personal preference.

 

How high does the front of your truck sit? My problem is my back end sits so high and it looks absolutely ridiculous rn, high in the back and low in the front, just don't want to keep it that way if I do take the pucks out

 

After the install and everything settled down I got the advertised 1.75" and in the rear I used the Wheelers progressive add a leaf and took the overload spring out and got around 2". I'm happy with it. I am waiting for the 31" tires to wear out or the guy I loaned money to pay me back and go to 32" tall tires.

 

Got any pics? I'd like to compare with mine, just to see if taking the pucks out and only using the 1.75" would do anything

Beautiful truck man. Trying to get my 96 to look very similar. Did you just use the Quicklift up front and then the AAL in the rear? Any rear shock changes?

Same height with the pucks on top of the strut? Mine is just the Quick lift.

Yes, Quick lift up front and progressive aal in the rear. I went with 1 inch longer shocks from Rancho, 9000's, and longer brake lines too.

 

My stock coils were flat too. Knew something was up when the ride was getting harsher.
