I think it manages the task of combining brake, turn and tail into a single bulb, and provides isolation between the trailer and the vehicles lighting system.

Is that carpeting and hook setup factory? My truck just has bare metal behind the seat ('98 standard cab bench seat). The carpeting and hooks look nice.

Yep, factory. I believe 02+. The hooks are for the cargo net (not sure if that was standard or part of the TRD package/optional, mine came with the net).

Maybe I can find some to retrofit... assuming the double cab parts would fit a standard cab. That's probably a big assumption.

Figures, I was just in town, and decided to stop by the place I ordered my new CVs. Nope, not in.
OK, I never actually expected them, but was in the area, and decided to stop by.
Back home, and in the shop. I was under my truck installing the correct (forward) leaf bolts.
Phone rings. My CV Axles arrived. :woot:
Shiet, really, OK. So I made another trip to town.:burnrubber:

Done for the day! Whiskey time, then time to cook chow.
    Then more whiskey.
    The CVs are tomorrows chore.

stuff and things that make it better
Toyota put carpet in a few of the bucket seat reg cabs, with and without speaker cutouts. Discontinued and hard as hell to find, but can be found in part outs. part # 64271-04100-B0

For those of you that wheel your trucks and have the Polyurethane steering rack bushings, generally how long do they last for you?
I ordered some replacements for mine that have been on my truck for close to 3 years.
    Just curious.

Mine have lasted about...8 months so far, I call that a win.

Hopefully get a few years at least out of them.

Isn't poly supposed to be better/longer lasting than rubber, the downside is that it tends to be noisy?

I haven't heard my steering rack ones making any noise, or my LCA poly bushings (yet).

My leaf spring poly bushings squeak like a banshee however.

Yea they are. I'm sure my OEM rubber bushings would have given up the ghost in about a 1/3 of the time that the poly ones have lasted though. I'm not complaining for the life I've gotten out of my current set.

Noise isn't so much of an issue with the steering rack since it doesn't move much, but you're still supposed to use generous amount of lube when installing the sleeved ones on the rack.

Just curious cause I know of some other guys that wheel pretty hard and their rack bushings don't like to stay in one piece for that long @theesotericone
