Buy a large plastic storage container. Cut the bottom out. Boom....done. No more splashing. Clean it up....use for next time.

And that's my old drain pan in the picture. My newer one looks just like yours. It works fine in that one too.

As I got splashed in the face with oil I was trying to remember what your used to stop the mess, thanks for reposting it! It'll be a while before I get to to it again. Gonna let the dealer do the 10K change. Taking it in next Monday for the 5K "service" which is just a glorified tire rotation. Also gonna have them look at the rear end howling I've been getting, just for laughs as they always say they can't find anything.

Well here's something you don't see every day. I'm due soon for my standard 5K service as I'm approaching 140K miles. I changed out both air filters today and found this dried out small ruffed grouse up against the engine air filter. I last changed it in December after hunting season and it wasn't there then. Me thinks it was stuck in the intake tube. At first glance I thought it was a mouse nest.

Being abnormal is normal. It's way to relax, and a stress reliever.

Looks like gorgeous country out there... Even if it gives you a temporary color change... ;)

    Great looking truck!

@Delta09 you can go somewhere with this one I'm sure.

Had to run around with an air hose and wand, blowing off a multitude of small 5hp electric motors in sawdust heavy spots. Got back to the shop and a coworker took one look at me and said "damn, you need a good blow."
