I didn’t say they suck. He was complaining about visibility and my comment was specific to that concern.

I personally traded mine because it’s the only black on the front of the vehicle so it draws your eye and I prefer to show off the LEDs over the scoop. That said, it does look great on the OR models that have more black to go with it. I think the more aggressive style is visually more fitting there.

But I don’t diss other peoples choices. Everyone wants to make their vehicle their own, it’s part of the fun of ownership.

I hope you find your hood swap partner. Did you post on the hood swap thread?

I am curious, how badly does the viper cut affect resale or trade in value on these trucks?

None if they don’t notice. If you do a good job it’ll look stock, so unless they really know about modding Tacoma’s I think they won’t be able to tell.

Measure twice, cut once, but always take three drinks for every step in the instructions!

Looks great! After you make the first cut it’s not so bad.

By the way, I’m a he, not a she.

New SPC uca’s. Need to do some more trimming so the caster can be set correctly. I tested it out and it rode super smooth. Only issue was now I rub the fender and the cab mount, so got them adjusted to move the tire forward. Rides a little stiff...so, Next week getting the cab mount relocated and trimming the fender. Pics to come next week.

Lol, I know you didn’t. It’s in my best interest to position it that way though. Yes sir I did a few times. I’m inclined to think it won’t ever happen but others have gotten scooped hoods so I’ll keep chasing it.
