I was aprehensive, but after reading soo many positive comments, I decided to give the DDI Seat Jackers a try. I am thoroughly impressed and highly recommend them!

I am no audio guy. Does the head unit improve sound? Or is it more so for the extra features like the gauges?

So I get a check engine light. Says it's my fuel evap system. Check the cap, reset and drive. Comes back in a few days. Take it to the dealer. Turns out a little f'n squirrel chewed a hole in the evap line right above the gas tank.
Dealer says they need to replace the entire gas tank. I say "Whaahht!!??" Then I ask how much is that? They say $1300.00. I say "Hokey smokes Bullwinkle! That is insane!"
Of course warrantee doesn't cover squirrel, so I call my insurance. They cover it, but my deductable is 500. Doesn't hurt it to drive, so I left.
I'm gonna wait for the adjuster to inspect, then see if there is a way to repair the tube without paying $1300.oo smacks, (or $500.oo anyway). Seems quite ridiculous that the entire gas tank would need to be replaced.

That doesn’t compute. I had a similar issue on an older Corolla years ago and they were able to just replace the filler neck.

I see this a lot. Doesn’t matter what car, I see wires chewed, plastic lines chewed. Sometimes by lowering the tank to gain access to this plastic hose, you can razor blade it off and attach a rubber hose with clamps.... just gotta figure out what size hose is required. Also depends if you have the means to do it.

I downloaded a big mix of music onto a usb drive and it works in my truck. Album art and all. Maybe your usb isn't formatted correctly or the type of music file. Mine are mp3 as far as I know.

I do wish my tray held the point better. It is just a generic quarter sized part; rather than some stepped down area to hold smaller coins.

Yeah. I've been seeing little foot prints here and there, and started using repellent. But apparently to late and not in the right spot.
I think replacing the entire tank is a bit extreme when it seems like a replacing a part would suffice. I'll be lowering the tank when I get it close to empty to see if I can effect a repair.

Just a heads up that this unit has a lot of problems with wireless Apple CarPlay. I hear android auto works fine, but I replaced this unit 3 times all with different issues with wireless connection and audio skipping. Even though they advertise for CarPlay, it’s not on the list of approved head units when I talked to Apple support. Other than that, the touchscreen works great and the features are top notch.

They recommend tank replacement because sometimes you can’t get the part separate from the tank ....

Before TacomaWorld, I was able to save money. Yes, I still save what I budget to save, but I recently sold some taillights to a member here. (They look great on his Silver Sky by the way). Anyway now I have (well had) money just sitting in my PayPal account. Thanks to @Szum and @Saturnine I just sent this money over to @DesertDoesIt for some jackets and an MMP. I justified this as basically just swapping parts. But there was a time in my life before TacomaWorld that I would have acted like an adult.
