Was out picking parts for my exploder, and noticed this guy on the rack. Was only $50 because of the busted window. Perfect fit on my access cab long bed.

Then I googled it.... wow... these are expensive.

I was just going to coat it in bed liner and call it a day. But the paint is perfect.

Edit: Does anyone have a source on where I can get new glass? Google is just directing me to places for quotes. The local dealer we have I'm sure can get it, but they are closed now. Just wanted to see what the ballpark would be, or if there was a cheaper option online.

Having a cap is one the best things I did fr my Tacoma when first buying it, what a great find!

Totally a good score. Even if you get a replacement window from ARE you are ahead.

Yeah, I'm trying to find glass now. I might just fix it and sell it at this point. Kinda feel bad wrecking good paint on it now. Will give a good discount if it ends up on a taco haha.

Yeah, that was going to be my plan. Although just from googling now people have claimed that they have got glass for like $75? I guess I will just have to wait for the dealer to open tomorrow, and maybe call some auto glass companies as well. Might as well check the price before I shove plexi in it. I'm sure that it has to be on the expensive side though.

Good luck finding replacement glass. I'm sure this is the reason, the original owner got rid of it.
Canopy manufacturers are not in business to sell "replacement" parts.

Or just find another $50 one with the glass broken on the other side! haha.

I hope it's not the back glass
I had the opportunity to get a free ARE cap that needed the whole rear opening glass assembly.
I got quoted over $700 to get a replacement.

I got plexi from TAP plastics in the same tint and cut it to shape with a bandsaw. Worked great.
