16K a year is a LOT of tacoma parts and session beers :D :bananadance:

I hear you on the "demotion" but at the same time experience, knowledge, and skill will always trump job title.

I've got the axle side squared away, and the frame side positions determined; just finalizing my transmission crossmember first to make sure there isn't any interference there (making sure everything works together).

dual triangulated 4-link really is the way to go.

I remember devices like that. We never had one but we had a helicopter mom that would automatically turn off the tv if she heard something she didn't like. She saw a scene from Itchy and Scratchy on the Simpsons and that was the last Simpsons I was allowed to watch until I was in my late teens

    4 run, 2 don't
    That is badass :fistbump:

I ran into that thread on 4Runner.org awhile back and it's been in the back of my mind ever since.

Then when I saw a similar setup on IG, I just had to tag and task you about it.

They're very understanding and family oriented.. they told me at a meeting last Friday "they just want me to be happy" so they'll be okay with it, but I'm sure it'll feel like a kick in the teeth for them to say that Friday and me putting a notice in Tuesday LOL

I hear you. On the other hand you're getting more experience and more legitimacy that could help you land a better paying tech job

Having run my own mini repair shop for a little while the cost of bonding and licensing is Flippin expensive. Not to mention shop utilities/rent and L&I payments

pretty sure the one posted is the second one Steven Burns did - my geometry is a little bit different than his, but our lower links are similar lengths, IIRC.

You have no idea how excited I am to hide more tacoma parts from the wife:burp:

You're dead nuts on that second part, I'm extremely excited at the prospect of running my own warehouse should we actually move back east. IMO it's better than staying in the electrical field and becoming, then topping out at, being a journeyman

    Hahaha

After high school I took a part time job as an evening fry cook for McDonald's. Long story short I got fed up and quit one night and told the manager I'd never be back. He snidely said I had to come back to return my uniform, so I stripped down to my boxers next to the grill, threw the cloths at him and stormed out.

It is super easy to quit when you don't give a fuck about a place

Yeah swapping rotaries at a shop sounds better than dicking around in people's driveway to prospective employers
