The raptor lights you are adding are let's?
I simply tapped the wire for my day time running lights for the hot side and grounded the other side.
They come on when my day time running lights are on. Don't take much power to run.

Been that way for 5 years.
And set up 4 other trucks this way, no issues.
Nothing running through the boot, easy peasy.

The boot most poke n cut has a nipple below that is meant to be used for added access of wire(s). Most don't even look for it. They just duplicate what someone else did and say it's the best.

I’m too lazy for all of that. Haha.

In all seriousness though; is there an advantage to using that nipple? Other than it being “by design” so to speak?

Everyone uses the stupid main firewall boot when using the 3/4” grommet that is replaceable should you remove the accessory, up near the brake booster, is way fricken easier. Pop it out, poke a hole thru the carpet layer behind it, cut a hole in grommet for wire, run wire through, done.

Passenger side "nipple", longer wire run. Easy though.

Are you saying that a low profile mini fuse tap WILL fit and allow the oem fuse box cover to snap back on? About to order one of these and it looked like the cover might not fit back on.

No. If you use an add a fuse the OEM cover will not go back on. You can purchase the one MESO makes though and it will go on with an add a fuse in place.

The OEM cover won't completely shut, but I was able to get two of the three latches to shut.

There is also one behind the master cylinder. It's a bit easier to get to in the TRD OR since there is not a booster in the way.
It is how I ran the cable for My Genesis off-road G screen

@JdevTac Will this work on an '07?

I'm running 2 10ga wires to rear of the bed - passenger side - to wire up a 12v outlet.

It should. You’d see the grommet right next to the brake booster. The photo below is not mine and is from a 4Runner but the grommet is in the same spot as you see there next to the booster (left hand corner of photo with black large wire). Only issue might be if you have the vacuum booster. If that is the case there is an identical 3/4” grommet on the passenger side firewall. Process is same. Remove grommet, punch hole carefully thru carpet directly behind, run wires through a slit or hole cut in the 3/4” grommet, snake wires into cab, fit grommet back in place.
